Hello! I hope you are well, wherever you are. It is starting to get chilly at long last in Virginia and it’s got me cozy at my home studio space with a cedar candle, a mug of herbal tea, and a new table lamp at my side so I can extend my painting hours even when the sun disappears by early evening.
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a collection of brand new landscape paintings with you all, and I am so excited to be releasing them into the world! These are some of my favorite landscapes I’ve ever painted – I made them to bring a sense of peace and stillness to the viewer, even as they are landscapes featuring adventures near and far.
This collection is a small one, featuring eight original paintings on handmade Khadi paper (one of my favorite paper brands from the UK). They feature wonder-filled places all over the US.
I hope you love this new collection. It’s deeply nostalgic to me, and I hope it is for you as well: these paintings serve as reminders of when we encounter unexpected Beauty, like a sunset that turned extraordinary or a glimpse of light through the trees on an everyday drive. My prayer is that these pieces remind you that beauty is a gift we can always receive, no matter what discouraging things persist in the world around us. Beauty nourishes. 🧡
The Wanderlands collection releases this Friday at 10am EST for you, my email subscribers! You’ll receive an exclusive link to my webshop in an email tomorrow morning, and the collection will go live to everyone later that afternoon.
Looking forward to sharing all these and more with you tomorrow!
